2. Purpose of FaultLinQ
FaultLinQ provides industrial diagnostic, maintenance-history, equipment-memory, documentation, and related software tools intended to assist qualified maintenance personnel.
FaultLinQ does not replace manufacturer procedures, site safety requirements, formal engineering review, qualified professional judgment, or applicable regulatory requirements.
3. Safety and Technician Responsibility
Users are responsible for determining whether any troubleshooting procedure, inspection, test, repair, or maintenance activity can be performed safely and lawfully.
Users must follow applicable lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety requirements, equipment documentation, site policies, and other relevant safety standards.
FaultLinQ-generated guidance should be treated as decision support and not as authorization to perform unsafe, prohibited, or unqualified work.
4. Artificial Intelligence
Some FaultLinQ functionality may use artificial intelligence to generate troubleshooting guidance, summaries, classifications, recommendations, or related information.
AI-generated information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular situation. Users remain responsible for verifying all technical conclusions through appropriate evidence, documentation, testing, and professional judgment.
5. Accounts and Authorized Access
Users must access FaultLinQ only through accounts they are authorized to use.
Customers are responsible for controlling access to their organization and for promptly addressing unauthorized account use.
6. Customer Content
Customers and users may submit equipment data, maintenance records, photographs, documents, troubleshooting information, repair history, and other technical content.
Customers retain ownership of their submitted content. By using FaultLinQ, customers permit FaultLinQ to process that content as necessary to provide, operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
7. Accuracy of Submitted Information
Users are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information they enter into FaultLinQ.
Confirmed causes, completed repairs, verification results, equipment identities, and related records should only be entered as verified information when appropriate evidence supports those conclusions.
8. Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another customer's data or organization.
- Circumvent security controls or usage restrictions.
- Interfere with the operation, reliability, or availability of FaultLinQ systems.
- Use FaultLinQ for unlawful purposes.
- Upload content they do not have the right to use or process.
9. Pilot Programs
FaultLinQ may offer limited pilot, evaluation, early-access, or trial programs.
Pilot availability, duration, user limits, equipment limits, functionality, support, and commercial terms may be defined separately for each participating organization.
Pilot access does not guarantee future availability, pricing, functionality, or commercial terms.
10. Service Availability
FaultLinQ may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as the platform develops.
FaultLinQ does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and may perform maintenance, security updates, infrastructure changes, or emergency service work when necessary.
11. Intellectual Property
FaultLinQ software, branding, design, workflows, documentation, and proprietary platform functionality are owned by FaultLinQ or its applicable licensors.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of FaultLinQ intellectual property to users or customers.
12. Third-Party Services
FaultLinQ may rely on third-party hosting, infrastructure, authentication, artificial intelligence, storage, analytics, or other technology providers.
Availability or performance may occasionally depend on services outside FaultLinQ's direct control.
13. No Warranty
FaultLinQ is provided on an "as available" basis except where otherwise agreed in writing.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FaultLinQ makes no guarantee that the service, diagnostic guidance, historical information, or generated recommendations will identify every fault, prevent downtime, or produce a particular maintenance outcome.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FaultLinQ is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of the platform.
Specific contractual liability terms for commercial customers may be governed by separate subscription, pilot, enterprise, or service agreements.
15. Suspension or Termination
FaultLinQ may restrict or terminate access where necessary to protect security, prevent misuse, address nonpayment, comply with legal requirements, or enforce applicable agreements.
16. Changes to These Terms
FaultLinQ may update these Terms as the product, company, or legal requirements evolve. Updated Terms may be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
